More than just a motorcycle tour – a different way to discover Fuerteventura.

What is Mototherapy?

Sometimes travelling isn’t about going further.

It’s about finding yourself again.

There are times when life moves too fast. Work, responsibilities, schedules, commitments and endless demands on our time. Before they realise it, many people stop making space for something simple: enjoyment.

Mototherapy was created around a different idea.

It’s not about speed or covering as many miles as possible. It’s not about following a crowded tourist route or rushing from one attraction to the next. It’s about riding along quiet roads, discovering unexpected landscapes, sharing conversations, stopping whenever you feel like it, and reconnecting with a sense of freedom that everyday life can sometimes push aside.

Our private classic motorcycle tours are designed for people who value the experience more than the pace, and the memories more than the itinerary.

For those who understand that riding can be relaxing.

That discovering new places can clear the mind.

And that taking a few hours for yourself isn’t an indulgence — it’s something we all need from time to time.

Mototherapy is about the road, the scenery, the conversation and the time to enjoy them.

Because some experiences aren’t about adrenaline.

They’re about finding balance.

Why Are We Different?

Because some experiences simply shouldn’t be rushed, shared with large groups, or reduced to the same well-worn tourist routes.

Mototherapy was created for people who value authenticity, time, and the pleasure of discovering places at a relaxed pace.

Our private tours aren’t designed around speed, adrenaline or ticking off attractions. They’re built around something far harder to find: peace of mind, genuine conversation, wide-open landscapes, and the simple pleasure of enjoying the journey without constantly checking the time.

It’s about slowing down, taking in your surroundings, and experiencing Fuerteventura in a way that feels natural, personal and unhurried.

Private Experiences, Not Mass-Market Excursions

Meet Your Guide

Some people ride motorcycles. And some build their lives around them.

Behind Mototherapy is someone who doesn’t see a motorcycle as just a means of transport, but as a way of life. Over two decades spent riding roads, exploring the islands, and learning that the best journeys are not the fastest, but the ones experienced with calm.

I’m a simple, down-to-earth and happy person. Proud of my family, a husband and a father, and someone who has learned over time to appreciate what truly matters: the small moments in everyday life.

On the road, I’m not here to impress. I’m here to share.

Experience Is Never Improvised

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to guide people from all over the world, each with their own pace, story and way of experiencing travel. And if there is one thing I’ve learned, it’s that a true experience is not about following a route, but about knowing how to adapt it to the people.

That’s why every Mototherapy ride is different. There is no rush. No pressure. No obligation to follow any pace other than your own.

Just the road, the landscapes and the time to enjoy them.

Javier, motorcycle tour guide, with two happy clients in Ajuy, Fuerteventura, during a full island tour on a Yamaha XJR1300SP.

A Guide, Not Just a Rider

My role is not simply to take you from one point to another. It’s to accompany you.

To make sure you enjoy the experience. To ensure you feel safe. To help you discover places that don’t appear on any map. And to give you, by the end of the day, the feeling of having lived something authentic, without stress or worry.

I consider myself a sociable, approachable—and sometimes forgetful—person, but with a very clear focus: that everyone who shares this experience leaves with more than just photos… they leave with memories.

The Mototherapy Philosophy

Over time, I’ve come to understand something very simple: we don’t need more speed in life. We need more moments that make us feel good.

That’s why Mototherapy is not a riding school, nor a sporting activity. It’s a different way of travelling, where the priority is not adrenaline, but tranquillity, connection with the surroundings and the enjoyment of the journey.

Discover the Authentic Island

Fuerteventura is not just a destination. It is an open space where the road seems to have no sense of urgency, where the landscape changes gradually, and where a feeling of freedom appears effortlessly from the very first mile.

For those who enjoy motorcycling, it is a truly special island.

Honda CB1300 riding on a secondary road with panoramic views of Las Playitas and Gran Tarajal on a sunny day in Fuerteventura during a motorcycle tour.

Its long, flowing secondary roads allow for smooth, stable and relaxed riding, with no stress or constant traffic. This is not technical or demanding riding: it is natural riding, designed to let you enjoy the scenery as the road unfolds in front of you.

An Island to Ride Without Rush

Here there are no large cities breaking up the journey, nor congested roads that keep you constantly on edge. Fuerteventura invites a different way of riding: more mindful, more relaxed, more human.

It’s the kind of island where you can maintain a steady pace, enjoy the sound of the engine, feel the warm Atlantic air, and simply let the road do its work.

Open Landscapes That Change the Way You Travel

Volcanic terrain, gentle hills, endless coastline, wild beaches and roads crossing almost empty spaces. The island offers a constant sense of openness, as if everything has been designed to be observed without haste.

It’s easy to understand why many riders describe this place as more of a mental experience than a physical one.

Riding-Friendly Climate

The stable climate for much of the year makes the motorcycle an ideal way to explore the island. Consistent light, pleasant temperatures and very few weather disruptions allow each ride to be predictable, safe and enjoyable.

This is not an experience dictated by the weather. It is an experience guided by the desire to enjoy.

The Real Luxury: Empty Roads and Time

In an increasingly fast-paced world, Fuerteventura offers something that has become a true luxury: quality asphalt and space.

  • Space to ride without pressure.
  • Space to stop whenever you feel like it.
  • Space to look at the landscape without interruption.
  • Space to enjoy the simple act of moving forward.
